Last year Sean Lanusse decided to tattoo thirty tattoos for his thirtieth birthday. Not to beat a world record, but just because.

If you’ve ever been to a convention that Joe Capobianco has tattooed at, you’ve seen the crowd of people standing around his booth watching him tattoo.

Now, I haven’t seen Joe at a convention lately, so it was good to see Joe and all of the ‘watchers.’

The 2013 Brussels Tattoo Convention

The Brussels Tattoo Convention took place earlier this month, and two videos from the event have surfaced online. Both videos are produced by Dirk “The Pixeleye” Behlau, a filmmaker in Germany. The only difference between the two videos is length. The first video is just over two minutes long, and the second video is just over five minutes long.

After years of admiring his paintings and tattoo work, I had the pleasure of meeting Shawn Barber in August. Shawn was at the Seattle Tattoo Expo, and I was lucky enough to watch him work on several pieces over the weekend. Watching Shawn tattoo was something else, and Sullen Clothing captured it perfectly in the video below.
