Warning: You might want to mute this video from Mana’o Tattoo Studio. Aside from the awful music, it’s an interesting shop video.

Video Recap: Hell City Phoenix 2010

June 3rd, 2011 by Kevin -

Let’s ignore the fact that this video from Hell City Phoenix is over eight months old. Instead, I think everyone should focus on the video, and enjoy it. In all seriousness, if you’ve never been to Hell City Phoenix, you really are missing out. Watch the video below and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about.

It’s not too late to book your rooms for Hell City Phoenix 2011, August 26th – 28th. How many other opportunities will you have to attend a tattoo convention at a world famous resort for $100 a night? Hell City Phoenix 2010 from Tattoo Snob on Vimeo.

Sydney Tattoo & Body Art Expo

I swear I’m not sitting here searching for videos of tattoo conventions in amazing countries. It’s just a coincidence, I promise.

Even if you’re not a fan of tattoo conventions, you should watch this video from the Sydney Tattoo & Body Art Expo. There’s a ton of good work, and the scenery is amazing.

For those of you who didn’t make it out to Norway for the Oslo Tattoo Convention, here’s a kick ass video showing what you missed.

Stop, and watch (and thank me later!)

May 19th, 2011 by Kevin -

I know posting three videos is a little bit of an overload, especially during the week. Trust me when I say you need to watch them.

I know they’ve been floating around the web for a while, so there’s a chance you’ve seen them before. If you have, treat yourself for a few minutes and watch them again.

A quick exploration of ‘con safos’

May 17th, 2011 by Julene Huffman -

Let’s start our day with a non-offensive 2:48 video from Dan Smith. While those deeply entrenched in the worlds of graffiti and tattooing may already be familiar with Con Safos–I wasn’t.

From Wikipedia:

con safos: a Chicano term meaning “with safety,” used to mark graffiti. If such a piece was marked with “con safos,” it was off limits, a sort of trademark, and a way of indicating that a graffito was complete and unarguable.

The Ryan Hadley Interview

May 13th, 2011 by Kevin -

As promised earlier this week, here’s our interview with Ryan Hadley. A couple weeks ago, we sat down and talked to Ryan about what it’s like to tattoo in the bible belt, paying respect to the legends in tattooing, and his new shop, Revolution Tattoo Gallery.

This post is stickied for the rest of the day. Check below for new entries.
