I told Rich to email me a high-res photo of the skull tattoo I saw on his Instagram (@richardsmithtattoo) – and then he sent me two.

Instead of holding out I’m going to share them both, because it’s damn near Halloween and I’m determined to post everything even mildly spooky that I can between now & next Wednesday.

Whenever I post a hand tattoo, I immediately want to use the phrase ‘You have to hand it to…’ or make a good ole’ hand job joke.

While I stand by the fact both of those are hilarious, I really am trying to diversify my comments. If you have any good hand tattoo jokes, I’m all ears.

The problem with the internet is I manage to find a million tattooers I want work from that don’t live in the U.S. On the upside, at least I live in New York – if they wind up in the country, that’s probably going to be their point of entry.
