For as long as I can remember, skateboarding and tattooing have been hand in hand. Skateboarders have always been tattooed, and tattoo designs have always been on skateboarding. This hasn’t always been the case though, and Sid Stankovits sheds a little light on the subject.

A foot of progression

People seem to enjoy when they get to see the progression of an actual tattoo being completed, so I figured this would be good to post.

I’ve always assumed more of these would surface as portable technology improves, but I guess it’s still a pain to make this. This shot is fairly steady, so it’s safe to guess a tripod was in use.
