It’s refreshing to see a underwater tattoo that involves something a little different. I especially love when an artist leaves a tattoo ‘open’ for an addition. I could easily see this being a full torso piece.

I feel like such a latecomer to singing the praises of Jee Sayalero. He’s based in Madrid, which until now I considered an area dominated by the very European interpretation of traditional Americana tattoos. (See: any post tagged with ‘Spain‘ on Tattoo Snob.)

When I stumble across work from a tattooer in another country, I always worry I’ve fucked up their name. (Pseudonyms are a real pain in the ass, sometimes.)
But in other news – this tattoo’s clean and it makes me think of St. George and the Dragon stained glass window, just a little.
