March 23rd, 2011 Fly away home
Word on the street is that Kings Avenue is opening a new location in SoHo. While they’ve told us the opening date (April 1st, which makes me wonder if I’ve been hoodwinked) they have yet to tell us which artists will be there full-time.
Here’s to hoping this isn’t the best April Fool’s Day prank setup ever!

When it comes to tattoos like the one below, I’m always curious what aspect each person notices first. For example, I paid attention to the bird skull right away but entirely missed the fact that there’s a birdcage for a bust until I looked at it a second time. Anyone?

Back in July, we posted this bird back piece tattoo by Guy Aitchison. I said I wanted to know more about what had been covered. Is it just me, or does Guy do a really good job of photographing the progress of large-scale tattoos?
