Last weekend was the Ink-N-Iron Festival in Long Beach, and while we didn’t make it out, Sailor Jerry was there celebrating Sailor Jerry’s birthday. If Norman “Sailor Jerry” Collins was still alive on Sunday, June 12th, it would have been his 100th birthday. At 5pm on the 12th, a toast was made by Crazy Eddie to his beloved friend. From what I’m told his tribute did not disapoint, and he stuck to his traditional “Fuck Chicago, Fuck Sailor Jerry.”

In honor of Sailor Jerry’s 100th birthday, Sailor Jerry Rum is kicking off “Hold Fast Celebration.” Fleets of custom Airstreams will be hitting the open road this summer, visiting tattoo conventions, musical festivals, and everywhere in between.
