Orrin Hurley recently tattooed Miro’s Singing Fish on a client, and had this to say about the piece:

“A step in a different direction from my usual tattooing, this one was a lot of fun. There is a lot of fun effects in this one that made it interesting to try and reproduce in skin what Miro produced with paint.”

It’s always interesting to see how paintings translate to tattoos, and while a number of them don’t look right on the skin, I think Orrin did an outstanding job with this piece.
